HOW TO INSTALL THE MAP:
All of the maps hosted at www.portalgamemaps.com are formatted
with a configuration file that allows you to access them through
the Bonus Maps menu.

BMZ Format Files:

Extract the *.BMZ file somewhere on you computer.
Open Portal
Select > Bonus Maps
Click "Import bouns maps"
Locate the *.BMZ file click import.

Select > Bonus Maps
Click "Import bouns maps"
Locate the *.BMZ file click import.
FIles NOT in .BMZ format

Installation is easy:
Step 1
Create a Subdirectory in the:

C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\{steam name}\portal\portal\maps
Note: {steam name} = your steam login name
Example: If you create a sub directry named "\Extras" the full path would be:
C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\{steam name}\portal\portal\maps\Extras
Step 2
Extract all the files from the *.zip file and place them into the subdirectory you
just created.

Note: You can overwrite the portalmaps-readme.txt and the How-To_Install-Maps.txt files
Step 3
If there are other folders such as a \Materials folder then place the contents of the materials folder
in the:
C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\{steam name}\portal\portal\materials subdirectory.
If that directory does not exist then create it.

Move all of the ZIP file \materials folder contents to that folder.
Step 4
Start portal and select the Bonus Maps menu. Select the folder you created and select a map.
